Mechanical Pinning

Mechanical Pinning

TerCon Systems has invented a process that is able to hold small and large sections of terrazzo flooring down to its substrate. The Mechanical Pinning process physically holds the floor down when small pieces have come loose or when the floor cups or curls up off of the base. The pins are placed throughout the lifted or unsecured areas and are below the surface which allows a tiny patch the be applied above the hardware making the pins undetectable. Mechanical Pinning is frequently used in conjunction with Hollow Plane Injection to secure the terrazzo better than it was at the time of installation.
