Marble & Natural Stone Restoration
Restore the Soul of Your Stone.
Natural stone is a living material. Over time, foot traffic and acidic spills etch the surface, stripping away the depth and clarity that made the stone spectacular. Standard “buffing and waxing” only buries the problem under a plastic film.
At TerCon Systems, we don’t just clean stone—we restore its geological brilliance. Using diamond-abrasive technology and specialized stone chemistry, we remove damage and refine the surface to its original, factory-finish luster.
Our Natural Stone Restoration Suite
We provide surgical-grade restoration for Marble, Travertine, Limestone, and Granite surfaces, including floors, walls, and architectural features.
Precision Diamond Honing
We use a sequence of diamond-impregnated pads to mechanically "shave" microns off the surface, removing deep scratches, chemical etching, and wear patterns.
Lippage Removal (Flattening)
Uneven tiles are more than a trip hazard; they collect dirt. We grind the floor until it is perfectly monolithic and flat, giving your space a seamless, gallery-style look.
Travertine Hole & Crack Repair
Travertine is naturally porous. We use color-matched polyester and epoxy resins to fill these voids, grinding them flush for a solid, structurally sound surface.
Deep Extraction & Stain Removal
To ensure longevity in high-traffic environments (like the 9/11 Memorial), we apply a breathable penetrating sealer and perform a high-speed burnish for "wet-look" clarity.ble to dust and stains.
Penetrating "Breathable" Sealing
We never use topical waxes. We apply advanced Impregnating Sealers that bond at a molecular level, protecting against stains while allowing the stone to "breathe."
Why Trust TerCon with Your Stone?
Engineering Precision
We calibrate our equipment to the specific Mohs hardness of your stone (from soft Crema Marfil to dense Granite).
Dust-Free HEPA Containment
Our dry-grinding technology ensures your home or facility remains pristine.
Mechanical Clarity
Our shine is achieved through stone refinement, not chemicals. It won’t peel, flake, or turn yellow in the sun.
Stone Restoration FAQ
Yes. Those "spots" are actually etches—chemical burns from acidic substances like lemon, wine, or vinegar. We use diamond honing to remove the damaged layer and re-polish the stone to a uniform finish.
A Honed finish is smooth and matte (understated). A Polished finish is processed through finer diamond grits to create a high-gloss, reflective surface. We can provide samples during our site visit.
Travertine has natural voids that collapse under foot traffic. We use a high-strength, custom-pigmented stone filler to permanently "plug" these voids and prevent further degradation.
In residential settings, every 3 to 5 years. Commercial high-traffic areas (hotels, lobbies) often require an annual "maintenance hone" to preserve the mirror finish.
Absolutely. We use specialized handheld diamond tools to restore vertical surfaces, vanities, and kitchen countertops with the same precision as our floor systems.
“We don’t just fix floors; we restore architectural assets to their original prestige.”
