Precision Patching & Seamless Small-Scale Installations

The Art of the Invisible Integration.

Whether you are removing a wall during a renovation or repairing a “blow-out” from a plumbing leak, the challenge is always the same: The Match. Most contractors leave behind a “bandage”—a patch with the wrong color, the wrong stone density, or a visible seam.

At TerCon Systems, we specialize in small-scale installations and technical patching. We don’t just fill a hole; we recreate your floor’s DNA to ensure a perfect, monolithic integration.

The TerCon Matching System: Chemistry meets Geology

A successful patch requires more than just pouring cement. Our process ensures your “new” floor is indistinguishable from the “old.”

Forensic Color Matching

Terrazzo ages. A "Classic White" from 1950 looks different today. We perform on-site color matching, adjusting pigments to account for decades of natural patina.

Aggregate Sourcing & Grading

We analyze your floor's specific marble chips (e.g., Georgia White, Botticino, or Belgian Black) and the size grading (from #0 micro-chips to #2 large chips) to match the exact density of your original floor.

Substrate Bonding & Pouring

We prepare the concrete substrate with high-strength bonding agents, then hand-trowel the new terrazzo mix slightly "proud" of the existing floor to allow for precision grinding.

Seamless Blending

Once cured, we use planetary diamond grinders to bring the new section perfectly flush. We grind across the "transition line," effectively erasing the seam until the two surfaces become one.

Precision Patching FAQ

Yes. While no match is 100% molecularly identical, our Forensic Matching gets closer than anyone in the industry. By blending custom pigments and sourcing specific aggregates, the repair is usually invisible to the untrained eye.

We typically use high-performance epoxy terrazzo for patches. In most cases, the area can be ground, polished, and opened to full traffic within 24 hours.

This happens when a contractor uses too much resin and not enough stone. We maintain a high stone-to-resin ratio so you see the beauty of the marble, not a block of colored plastic.

No. While we handle massive commercial projects, we take pride in our Small-Scale Precision division. Whether it's a 1-square-foot patch or a 50-foot utility trench, we apply the same technical detail.

Actually, it will likely be stronger. Modern epoxy terrazzo has a much higher compressive and tensile strength than the cement-based terrazzo used in the mid-20th century.

“We specialize in the repairs that other contractors say ‘can’t be matched’.”

Don't let a renovation ruin your floor's value.

A bad patch is a permanent scar. Trust the specialists who treat terrazzo restoration as a forensic science.
